Very First Blog Post 12.19.16

I am new to this whole blog experience so please bear with me.  I will eventually get the hang of it and hopefully make my blog better as I go.  My name is Heather Hayden.  I am a single mother just trying to make ends meet.  I mainly wanted to start this blog to help motivate me to stay on track with my fitness.  I also hope to help motivate others along the way.  I really hope to start getting some people who want to follow along with me.  I am going to be posting my workouts each day and my meal plans.  I also want to post little tips that help me.  I am a new mom so the struggle I have is getting back to my original size before the baby.  I know I will probably never be that size again but hopefully in time I can at least have a more toned body and a healthier one as well.  Health is very important to me.  I am going to try not to bore you with all the details about me and my life.  I am just going to get right into my fitness routine and explain what it is that I am actually doing each day.  Okay...so my main goal is to exercise daily and eat better.  If I lose weight along the way, then great!  I really hope to motivate others to do the same.  I have been through a lot recently and I am just learning to love myself.  I think that loving yourself is very important.  Also, to be positive and to have a plan in place.  I am on a very tight budget so I am going to be posting meals that are healthy and that can be also very cost effective.  You can always add and change things to your preferences.  I am hoping to figure out how to set up a video of my workouts so that people can follow along if they wish.  Note that I am starting from doing absolutely nothing every day and jumping into this slowly so I am not going to be going hard with this right away.  I am going to be doing different workouts to see which ones I like best and I am definitely open to any and all suggestions.  Also any questions you have I would love to answer.  Even if I only get one person to follow me, that would be amazing.  I just want to be able to help and support others to want a healthier lifestyle.  So I am going to be planning everything out today and later I will post on what exactly the plan will be.  If I can take a video of my workout I definitely will.  One tip that I would like to do is make a food diary.  It helps me to see what I am eating daily and also how over time my diet is changing.  I am going to be posting each morning what I am hoping to make that day for my meals and then I will make a post on the daily workout and lastly a post of how the meals went and hopefully pictures and other things to go along.  I am hoping to go to the grocery store today to buy some things to make these meals. Tip of the day: Make a sign that has an inspirational quote that applies to you and hang it on your mirror to see every morning. Here is mine:

I have no idea why it is sideways but this is a prime example of how new I am to all this. :)
